our story

Soulshine Dance Arts officially opened its doors in January 2024 with a simple dream: to bring Fergus a dance school where every dancer is truly seen, heard, and celebrated—exactly where they are.
I wanted to create a space that offered both meaningful performance opportunities and the freedom for dancers to explore other interests without the pressure of a demanding dance schedule.

Inside the Soulshine space, kindness, respect, and confidence-building are at the heart of everything we do. Our goal is to help every dancer grow, feel supported, and shine in their own unique way.

I like to grow things, not only in my backyard but in everything I do. The idea of growing, reaching new goals, and exploring who we are has shaped my work and is at the heart of Soulshine, the community I love.
